Wandering (2024)
Wandering was inspired by Chinese contemporary artist ZHOU Yang’s photography <Faërie>, which explores traditional Chinese literati gardens.
It employs cyclical motifs and gradual, subtle changes to mirror the evolving light, mood, and perspective in the garden.
While spending a day in the Garden, it may seem as if a thousand years have elapsed elsewhere.

Wandering (piano solo) was premiered by William Howard in Recital Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Nov 2024.
Wandering was presented as part of an immersive group exhibition with artist ZHOU Yang's installation Wò Yóu: An Escape at The Wrong Gallery in Birmingham in June 2024 and also as a part of the PhD Takeover at the School of Art in BCU in July 2024.
